Sterile Processing Technician PRN

Chandler Orthopedic Center is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.

Required Skills:

High School diploma or GED required
CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
1-2 years of SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred.
Experience with ordering preferred.
Experience with all types of sterilizers.
Knows operating room instrumentation.
Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to Close.
